Community Based Residential Supervisor
Professional Accomplishments
I hold a bachelor’s degree in education with a minor in psychology and sociology. My degree has provided opportunities to work with individuals from all walks of life. Throughout my career, I have served as a teacher, advocate, family support worker, and now as a manager of two group homes. These experiences have reinforced a fundamental belief: people matter. No one is a lost cause—they may just need guidance, encouragement, and someone to believe in them.
My Values
My mother, a dedicated special education teacher, often said, “Not every child has been shown love—that’s where teachers come in.” She was a profound influence in my life and the greatest teacher of what true compassion means. Her wisdom shaped my belief that everyone has potential, everyone longs for kindness, and everyone deserves a chance to live their authentic life.
Outside of Work
I grew up in Kenosha, Wisconsin—Go, Pack, Go! I recently relocated to the Winona area with my Siamese cat Martha. I also have three children, a two-year-old grandson, and a granddaughter expected in July 2025. In my free time, I enjoy watching movies of all genres. I was recently introduced to cribbage and have even participated in two tournaments—though we don’t need to discuss how badly I lost!
Fun Fact
I already have a superpower—it’s called ADHD. While I may get teased for being a bit flighty, my ADHD also comes with great strengths. I’m a natural problem solver, highly efficient, and thrive in fast-paced environments. Staying busy keeps me at my best, allowing me to accomplish a great deal in a short amount of time.
