Field Community Based Program Supervisor
Professional Accomplishments
For as long as I can remember, I desired a job/career working with and helping people. After High School, I attended MN Southeast Tech in Winona and Western Tech in La Crosse. I have taken different avenues since then and have gained experience and knowledge in other fields. Something always seemed to missing or the positions just didn’t seem quite right. After working in the Childcare field for 13 years, I decided to take an office assistant position for a local company. In 2019, I again desired to be in a position, long term, where I could help others learn and grow.
My Values
Honesty, Grace/Forgiveness, Integrity. Honesty is the best policy, no matter what. Use grace in all relationships—we all make mistakes. Ask for forgiveness and forgive others. Integrity defines your character. All of these values challenge oneself to be and do better.
Outside of Work
I was born and raised here in Winona. I have two daughters, ages 11 and 14. I enjoy cooking, canvas painting, diamond art, fishing, walks by the river or lake, binge watching Netflix, spending time with family and friends, and being in the country. My grandparents owned a farm where my family and I would ride trails on our four-wheeler/side by side as well as go berry picking and morel hunting! My parents just purchased 40 acres of land so our family can continue to do so.
Fun Fact
My favorite pet was my African Albino Clawed Frog.
Always try new things and never stop learning! My interests vary widely… My dream was to become a Medical Laboratory Technician/Technologist but I quickly discovered I cannot draw blood. I then took classes in Drafting & Design. I obtained a certificate in Estheology.
If I could be anything else, I would love to be a Chef or a Geneticist!
