Field Community Based Program Supervisor
Professional Accomplishments
Inspired by 4 years working in the field I have a Bachelors of the Arts in Psychology that influences how I support the clients and staff that I work with every day.
My Values
I believe that every person carries with them an inherit dignity that deserves to be respected no matter their diagnosis, their beliefs, their gender, or their sexuality. All people of all backgrounds should be respected and cared for as the beautiful human that they are. This value inspires everything that I do to bring person-centered care to all of my clients at Legacies.
Outside of Work
I grew up in East Peoria, IL and relocated to the beautiful state of Minnesota at 18 when I attended Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. I enjoy the lighter side of outdoor activities such as hiking, canoeing, gardening (mostly the digging in dirt part). I also have a big passion for learning about spirituality and philosophy, and yes, I recognize that makes me a huge nerd, I am proud of that!
Fun Fact
My Hogwarts house is Hufflepuff which should tell you a lot if you are in the know. My ultimate superpower is my ability to be patient and calm in almost any situation. However, if I could choose a different one, I would love to gain the power to teleport. Hopefully one of the many geniuses of this earth will make the technology for us all to teleport one day, otherwise I will have to role around in toxic waste which will probably won’t work like it does in the comic books.
