I am a recent graduate of Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Philosophy. I began working at Legacies as a Direct Support Professional in 2017 and fell in love with the company, staff, and clients we serve. After two years of working as a DSP I was able to take the next step into a Program Coordinator position and as of May 2019 I accepted a new role as a Designated Coordinator.
I am a firm believer that every human person deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and love no matter who they are or what they have been through. I use these values every day to support the individuals who I have had the privilege to work with throughout my time at Legacies.
Outside of Work
I am originally from Peoria, Illinois, I came to Winona for school where I fell in love with the community and the beautiful landscape. I enjoy hiking, canoeing, and kayaking, along with all things music and theater. I have been a singer for most of my life and enjoy singing in local church choirs and I cantor at Saint Mary’s Parish. I have also had multiple opportunities to travel outside of the country to Italy and Israel and I enjoy learning about other cultures and their customs.
I am one of the world’s biggest and greatest Harry Potter nerds. I am 100% a Hufflepuff and my Patronus is a Fox Terrier.
