I take immense pride in having been a part of Legacies since it began in 2010. I have thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the numerous co-workers, staff, and clients that I have interacted with during my time. The best part of my job has been being awarded the opportunity to have supported a multitude of clients who have transitioned into independent living and seeing their quality of lives genuinely flourish. It is also a truly fulfilling experience in having former staff, who have gone on to become teachers, counselors, therapists, etc. re-connect and share how their experiences at Legacies have benefitted their careers.
I have always had a passion for helping others. It began with being taught the “golden rule” from my parents, who both work in the customer services field. I feel that we as people, have the responsibility to help those who need it the most. I also work hard to view each person individually and attempt to gain something from everyone that I have interactions with. Everyone has something to offer.
Outside of Work
I was born and raised in Winona, other than spending 2 years in Iowa for college. I have been happily married to my best friend Keri for over 9 years with whom we share 2 beautiful daughters, Callie and Kenley. Family time is one of the things that provides me the most joy including our annual trips to Door County, going fishing, playing at parks, dress up, etc. Outside of family time, I also enjoy playing softball, spending time with friends, and doing house projects.
I have been with my wife since our sophomore year of high school. I was so young, that she would pick me up for school because I didn’t have my license yet.
