Field Designated Coordinator
My Job Duties
As a Field Designated Coordinator, I work closely with families and County Case Managers to develop outcomes/goals, design measurable programs, develop routine plans, and train and support our Direct Support Professionals. Legacies, LLC provides services to individuals with mental health diagnoses and developmental disabilities working on individualized home supports. We help individuals in the areas of behavior modification, homework, hygiene, chores, appropriate social interaction, and community safety among many other areas that encourage accountability, independence, and safety. Field Designated Coordinators spend around 35 hours in the field and 5 hours of office time.
Professional Accomplishments
I graduated Cum Laude from the University of Stout in Menomonie, WI, I achieved the Chancellors Award five consecutive terms, and earned a triple concentration in Vocational Rehabilitation: Psychiatric Rehabilitation, Counseling, and Substance Abuse.
My Values
All of my adult life I have been interested in helping others working with their own disability. Working with Legacies will continue to enrich my life while humbling serving others in ways that will enrich their lives. Using my personal experience, as I have overcome my own disabilities, makes it more of a passion to watch others succeed.
Outside of Work
I grew up in Eau Claire, WI and for most of my adult life lived in La Crosse, WI. I love to travel, as I have been to 42 of the 50 states. One thing on my bucket list is to travel to all the National Parks. I am a new mom and loving life, being able to take care of my son. I enjoy being outside weather it is camping, hiking and swimming. Summer is my favorite season.
Fun Fact
If I had a superpower, I would love to be able to get on my broom and fly, but I hate flying on a planes/helicopters.
