Director of Services, Twin Cities Branch
My Job Duties
I oversee the designated coordinators and support the Twin Cities IHS program, coordinate and handle company wide benefits, submit company wide payroll and billing. I research various service options and software to help enhance our services. I keep the Twin Cities branch compliant including meeting all licensing requirements, track revenue including various revenue reporting, process new clients, and keep all training tracking and other relevant information up to date. I also hire and train new employees.
During my undergrad, I was on a research team and I was able to publish multiple research articles on Down Syndrome and Williams Syndrome. I also published an information booklet on Down Syndrome.
A number of my values inform my career at Legacies. First and foremost, I value meaningful work. Being apart of a company who cares so deeply for the individuals served and puts them above all else is a blessing for me and motivates me to continue to do good work. I am passionate about helping people become the absolute best version of themselves and I believe this company thrives to do that every day for both the individuals served and for the employees who work here.
Outside of Work
I grew up in Hudson, Wisconsin and currently live in Burnsville, Minnesota. I met my husband in a Gender Communications class at Winona State University where we quickly formed a close friendship that later turned into a relationship. We love traveling and especially spending time outdoors. I value time with my family and friends and have 3 wonderful siblings, 5 awesome sibling-in-laws, and 3 nieces who are all equally adorable. I am an old soul and can usually be found cooking, baking, reading, working out, hiking, or playing board games.
In my spare time, I teach English virtually to kiddos in China. It requires high energy, a ton of silliness, and the kids are super cute and smart!
